Stephen Fry on the iPhone

Smart phone and Apple enthusiast Stephen Fry was recently named T3 Gadget Personality of the Year by our sister magazine T3, and he popped into the office to collect his award. While he was there T3 did a video interview with him, which you can watch online right now.

There's some great quotes in there from Mr Fry about Apple, design and the iPhone 3GS, including some of his criticisms of Apple's iconic device.

Lazy

T3... Techradar... do you actually do anything of your own any more or are you just an aggregator site for other, lowest common denominator technology websites?

Would be nice if it actually worked... all I get is a loading bar scrolling constantly and no play back

Come on then

Why don't you answer some of this criticism? Or are you happy about the fact that the quality of your magazine is going down the toilet?

Hi Derrington, I've been

Hi Derrington,

I've been away for a long family weekend, hence my slow response. I don't personally see a problem reporting a great exclusive on one of our sister sites, like T3's Stephen Fry video interview, when it is of interest to Mac users here at MacFormat.co.uk who may not be aware of it otherwise. In every case we make an editorial decision. As you can see from the Blog here, we have plenty of original MacFormat content too.

Cheers,

Graham

T3/stephen fry video

Hello Graham,
Hope you enjoyed your holiday.
Regarding the T3 web site – I've no problem with the video being on their site. The only problem I have is this... I cannot get the video to play! All I get is the loading bar constantly scrolling and nothing plays. Could you ask T3 to fix it or, can the video be put onto iTunes? I really would like to see it.
Kind regards,
Macjim.

Hmm

I maintain that your cover features haven't been as good over the last six months as they were in the previous year.
